A group of bees is called a swarm. However, there are other terms used to refer to different groups of bees based on their activity and social structure. For instance, a colony of bees refers to a group of bees living together in a hive or nest and working together to support the queen bee and raise their young. A group of bees that leaves the colony and searches for a new place to build a hive is called a swarm. Additionally, a group of worker bees that leave the hive to gather nectar and pollen is known as a foraging party or simply a group of foragers.
