Boiling duck eggs typically takes a bit longer than boiling chicken eggs because they are larger and have thicker shells. Here are the general guidelines for boiling duck eggs:
Place the duck eggs in a pot and add enough water to cover them by about an inch.
Bring the water to a boil over high heat.
Once the water comes to a rolling boil, reduce the heat to medium-low and let the eggs simmer gently.
For soft-boiled duck eggs with a runny yolk and a firm white, cook for 6-7 minutes.
For medium-boiled duck eggs with a slightly set yolk and a firm white, cook for 9-10 minutes.
For hard-boiled duck eggs with a fully set yolk and white, cook for 12-14 minutes.
Once the eggs are done, remove them from the pot using a slotted spoon and immediately place them in a bowl of ice water to cool for a few minutes.
After the eggs have cooled, you can peel them and enjoy them as desired.
